As we scale our impact across Kenya and beyond, we’re looking for a proactive and ambitious Sales and Marketing Operations Trainee to join our team.
Role Description
As a Sales and Marketing Operations Trainee, you will support key client-facing and marketing functions while learning the ropes of startup operations in a fast-paced tech environment.
This is a hands-on role where your contribution will directly impact customer experience and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients via phone, email, or messaging tools
- Perform data entry for clients
- Offer customer support and respond to inquiries promptly
- Assist in organizing and attending physical demos or meetups with potential clients
- Help create and edit marketing materials using tools like Canva, CapCut, InVideo, and Google Docs
- Contribute to social media, content, and promotional efforts
- Share client feedback to help improve product and service delivery
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fast learner with a positive attitude
- KCSE Mean Grade of B and above
- Second Class Upper Division Degree in any business or technology-related field. If you are yet to graduate, you will be required to provide your transcripts for the first 3 years in school.
- Ability to work remotely from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. You should also be able to work outside office hours whenever needed by a client.
- Technologically savvy; comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, Canva, etc.
- Own a functional laptop and have a stable internet connection
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
